POGOTRON
========

You have been stranded on a hostile planet, alone, except for the 'turbo-pogo', the only means 
of transport. Luckily the plans on how to build a space ship have been left behind — the search 
is on to find the equipment and then build the space ship to ESCAPE!

The final danger is the GUARDIAN — he must be destroyed before you can be free.

- Fly the amazing 'turbo-pogo'
- Collect fuel pellets to power the ship
- Avoid hostile lazer beams

The most amazing horizontally scrolling "BOUNCE AROUND" you are likely to play!


Game Objective
The object of POGOTRON is to collect the different parts of the spacecraft which have been 
strewn around the planet, assemble them on the launch pad, collect the fuel pellets and place 
them in the spacecraft then blast off and go to the next planet.

To collect the different parts
Either pass over them as they fall or as they lie on the planet’s surface.

To assemble the craft
Pass over the launch pad with each piece of rocket and it will fall into place.

To fuel the craft
Collect the fuel pellets and pass over the now assembled spacecraft to drop them in. Once the 
craft has been assembled and fueled an alarm will sound. To enter the rocket, slow down to 
minimum speed and pass over it. The rocket will then blast off and you will be taken to the 
next planet.


Hazards and Options

Laser Towers
Passing through these long laser beams will deplete your energy. 

Fuel Boosters
Passing through these short beams will top up your energy.

'L' Diamond Options
Passing over these will turn off the laser beams for a short time. 

'F' Diamond Options
Passing over these will boost your fire power for a short time.

NB The FUEL BOOSTERS and OPTION DIAMONDS can only be used a certain number of times dependant 
upon which planet you are on.


'End of Level Guardian' - Sub Game

Whilst avoiding the missiles, shoot at the Guardian's Head to disable it. Once it is disabled 
you will be awarded bonus points.
