PROSPECT3 — FOOTBALL POOLS PREDICTOR PROGRAM

PROSPECT is a statistically based program for the SPECTRUM whose purpose
is to forecast the 16 most probable score-draws for a football pools
coupon. It makes forecasts on the basis of information supplied by the
user about the week’s matches and uses a database of over 14,000 matches in
pre-analysed sequences. This database may optionally be updated by the user
after match results are known. The user may ‘tune’ the program by adjusting
prediction parameters week by week.

To run PROSPECT3 from cassette, simply enter: LOAD "PROSPECT3".

Full instructions on using PROSPECT3 are obtained by using menu option 1.

NB The database supplied with PROSPECT3 (called DATABASE) is NOT a program.
It is read by PROSPECT3 by using menu option 7.

RACING — HORSE RACE ANALYSER PROGRAM

RACING is a simple to use program that will analyse any horse race, to give
a rating for each horse running in the race — the higher the rating given
the better the horse. Full instructions on using RACING are obtained by
using menu option 5.

To run RACING from cassette, simply enter: LOAD "RACING".
