HOW TO PLAY FEDERATION 

To load: type LOAD "" ENTER (in 48k mode).
 
The program understands simple English sentences such as:— THROW THE LEAD
BALL AT THE CRANE and PUT THE BOMB DOWN CAREFULLY. The way in which you 
phrase your command should not be important, for instance FIRMLY PUSH 
DROID will have the same effect as PUSH DROID HARD, firmly and hard being
synonyms. If the computer replies "Pardon?" or "Eh?", etc, to a command, 
you should try rephrasing what you typed or using some different words. If
the reply is "That's not possible," some of what you typed has been 
understood, but either the context is wrong or the game has not been 
designed to respond to that particular input. 

special commands and abbreviations include... QUIT to end the mission; 
RAMSAVE and RAMLOAD (RS and RL for short) which transfer for your status 
instantly to and from memory; all the compass directions; REDEscribe (R) 
or LOOK AROUND to see where you are; GET, DROP, WEAR, REMOVE, EXAMINE, 
INVENTORY (what you are carrying), EAT, PUSH, PULL, INSERT, CLIMB and 
ATTACK; adjectives such as QUICKLY, FIRMLY and CAREFULLY and, of course, 
many many synonyms. 

Note: you are given points out of 10,000 on your way to completing your 
mission. It is possible to finish with less than this score, as some 
points are reserved for showing extra initiative!
