Super Enquiry Simulator is compatible with the ZX Spectrum 48K, 128K, and +2.

To load the game in 48K mode, type LOAD "" then press ENTER.


CONTROLS

Press keys 1 to 5 to choose from any numbered option presented on screen, or to proceed at a continuation prompt (...).

In arcade mode, pressing or holding any key from 1 to 5 will skip or speed up the current text or dialling sequence.

In simulation mode, most sequences cannot be skipped or sped up.

In simulation mode, you must also respond to incoming calls, and prompts such as “Hello?”, by pressing any key from 1 to 5.

If in doubt, press any key from 1 to 5.


ARCADE MODE

Arcade mode is the default setting.

Your calls will be answered automatically, and you can take as long as you like to respond to each prompt.


SIMULATION MODE

Simulation mode can be selected on the title screen. It is needlessly prolonged and unfair.

Calls now take much longer to be answered, and you will be left on hold for several minutes in the middle of many calls.

If you leave your computer unattended while on hold, then you may miss a time-limited prompt to respond. If you miss a prompt, then the hold sequence will restart automatically.
