In June 10th, 1984, when MicroHobby was still being conceived, Hobby Press published a note in the job advertising section of the Spanish newspaper "El Pais". The advert was aimed to get writers for the forthcoming magazine - then planned to be named "S-15" - and it said they were looking for Sinclair ZX Spectrum owners. Jesus Alonso Rodriguez replied in a very unusual way: sending his reply letter on tape. The tape contained a ZX Spectrum program which showed his reply letter in a very fancy way, displayed in 64 columns. This impressed Domingo Gomez (the magazine director), who hired Jesus for the position.
