Fairly terrible Panic type game with UDG graphics that move in character blocks. This game strongly smells of compiled basic.

I must admit I had a lot of fun with this game when I was 11 and still have a go at it every now and then. It is a clone of Panic with minimalist (to say the least) graphics and sound. However, the different types of enemies, the constantly dropping energy which has to be replenished by collecting crosses and the resulting frantic pace are what make me evaluate this game with an overall positive mark, although it's no masterpiece even by 1983 standars.

I would love to rate this game higher, but its difficult. It just seems pointless. All you do is dig holes to finish off the vampires and try to hold as long as you can alive. No levels, no interludes, no nothing more. Initially looks good, the flames are a nice touch, but that alone wont hold a player for long. Movement is also another big letdown.
There are lots of other better 'Panic' clones around.

Monsters in Hell could have been a lot better ... but it isn´t . : (

What hides behind such an evoking title ?? --> a poor re-edition of Panic , nothing more .

A little more action is missing here , and a little more variety , the game is shallow to say the least ... just going up and down ladders and digging holes isn´t enough .

The touch of the infernal flames is nice , but in a general view MIH isn´t a profound game , and it won´t keep you interested for too long . : (

My vote can only be a 1,5 . sorry . : (
