PROCESSED
DH 06/07/23. New ID created. Marked as 'derived from' Epsilon's earlier game. It's more than just a re-release of Battle City4.

Is this a new game?
I would swear that I've seen this loading screen somewhere.

Battle City by Joe Vondayl (2017) — It’s on the top-rated graphics list on ZXArt.

Oh god, not ZX Online. I have better things to do with my life than work out the Krypton Factor puzzle that is downloading stuff from there again.

The loading screen is new, as is the title, but otherwise as far as I can tell it's completely identical to this 2016 release by the same developer:

I got an email the other day announcing 3 new games. I'll never try to buy anything from them until they sort the website out. Shame really as they have some decent stuff on there.

I'm not sure why some find it difficult to download from ZXArt. I just scrolled down and hit the "Get" button, the page scrolled down to the Donation window. You either choose to donate or just hit "No Thanks" and download the game for free. Am I missing something? Are other games more difficult to obtain? I suppose the "No Thanks" link isn't as in your face as the donate buttons which is a little shady. Other than that, I just found it to be the same as Itch.IO

I tried to buy Super Bomberman 2 Remix recently and had multiple problems trying to pay. It got so bad I had a security message from my bank about an attempted transaction.

It looks familiar to me too. I just can’t put a finger on it. :|

The game probably originated on the Atari 2600.

Ah, that explains it. I was too cheap to pay for the game up front and never tried to finish a payment transaction. I so just went for the free download!

Battle City on the NES was the follow up to Tank Battalion at the arcades preceded the Atari2600 game by 3 years.
