Launched Escape from M.O.N.J.A.S.

People are still making stuff for the Sinclair related machines. Tell us about new games and other software that runs on the Spectrum, ZX80/ZX81, Pentagon and Next.

problem is uneven field of vision, not the position by itself
rastersoft wrote: Mon Apr 12, 2021 12:26 pm The problem is that, doing that, the tiles would be always partially visible also in the vertical scroll.
doing what? if you're talking about "scrolling by one tile when the player's facing direction has changed" part, then no, they won't

I was talking about centering the character. But you are right, scrolling would be a solution.

This game must make history. May I help you to find a music composer?

Ops... probably... but I'm so tired of re-compressing the texts to make them fit in 48K... ;)

Really enjoying this!! :D But I'm stuck...
Spoiler
Captain White is aboard, and hungry, and I'm struggling to feed him.
I have a diary, rubber chicken & plant. He won't accept any of them.
I even tried cooking the rubber chicken & plant  but when Yellow goes to fix the cooker, nothing seems to change.
None of the others are saying anything helpful / new any more.
I've been outside - Marvin was no use either. Didn't find anything else out there.
Kinda hoping Captain White has a USB drive among his "little things" but assume I need to feed him first...

When Yellow goes to fix the cooker, you must do something. ;)

Wow!!! Thanks!!!

No, I don't use twitter. 280 characters is too small for me :D

In fact, I don't know who is that "RasterSoft".

BTW: I've been searching for that magazine, but only find the old numbers, scanned. I can't find any link/page/whatever about new releases, only something about a kickstarter campaign...

I think you have to subscribe to the Crash Patreon in order to purchase the magazine on .pdf or printed.

Ah it's on Patreon rather than Kickstarter, it works like a subscription. Alternatively, you can purchase individual issues via the new publisher, Fusion.

Paul mentioned he was trying to get in touch with you as a certain space-themed graphic adventure game is reviewed in issue #4. ;)

This is absolutely brilliant. Well done rastersoft.

I love the setting and humour. I'm struggling with the puzzles though. I've had to cheat, and seeing the solution I doubt I would have solved it.
Spoiler
I didn't get the rubber chicken, because I (wrongly) assumed I would need permission as all the other items required it. So I would never have considered using it on the reactor.
