Regulus, a Proxima Soft game recovered, quite impressive!

Whether it's Mire Mare or a BASIC tape you found in the attic, it needs to be preserved digitally. Post here and experts can help to do so.

Regulus, a Proxima Soft game recovered, quite impressive!

Just saw it in youtube:

A great surprise, that makes me wonder how this game was still in the shelf of some programmer of the 90s and how could it be that it was not even listed as MIA before :o

Well that's very impressive I must say! But is it that short too? Maybe it was just the first level of a larger title?

Great graphics, love the design of all the prehistoric critters.

Some sections seem to have a lot of enemies chucked at you, I can already tell I'd be rubbish at it...

Great find!

We have some very interesting stuff coming from former Czechoslovakia recently. First Dizzy style Ovocnici
(check it if you haven't seen it, it's worth it) and now this.

Of course it's heavily inspired by Savage and not as good as the original, but very interesting anyway.

One thing that I miss here are death animations. Destroyed enemies just dissappear while in Savage they exploded
in a picturesque way to hundred pieces. Don't neglect this thing people if you write your own games, it may seem a small touch
but it gives a lot satisfaction to the player.

I've already noticed its entry recently created days ago, on 13th July. Thanks to @pavero !! As a BetaDisk version also exists, in SCL and TRD, could be also uploaded.

This definitely has Savage vibes.
