This is very minor, but it would be awesome if it could be changed.
When going to the Spectrum Computing home page, the focus is placed in the Quick Search input field, which is fine, no problem.
However, every page of search results also puts the focus back in that input field, which means that scrolling the page with the keyboard isn't possible until you click or tab out of that field. This is a bit tiresome if you're looking through a few pages of results, especially as you need to get to the bottom of the page to change pages.
Having a copy of the page controls at the top of the page would be a nice-to-have, too.
Incidentally the actual forum doesn't grab the focus in the search box, and has page controls at top and bottom, so there is currently an inconsistency between the two systems.

@Pobulous
Let me have a look over the weekend so I understand the issue more and I will come back to you.
The forum is an off the shelf package, whilst the main website is hand coded, so unfortunately behaviour will be very different. It's a good observation you make though.
@pavero kindly developed the paging for us so I will see what he thinks about adding pagination at the top too. Sounds sensible to me.

I was going to say (I read the topic before your reply Peter but got sidetracked) , it should not be too difficult to add pagination to the top as well, in theory its a copy/paste but as you say let it be decided.
It does seem the easiest 'fix' anyway.

Yep, the copy/paste trick was successful.

Now "autofocus" is set for the homepage only.Pobulous wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 10:52 am However, every page of search results also puts the focus back in that input field, which means that scrolling the page with the keyboard isn't possible until you click or tab out of that field. Now much easier to work with it. Thanks!
