1983 Artic Computing (UK)

Written by one of the authors of Match Day, Jon Ritman, 3D Combat Zone is a vector graphics based game, is was released in 1983 and it was quite different and innovative for the day, specially on the Speccy.
The game plays very well, even today, you can't expect speed or loads of action, by today's standards this may even look very primitive, but for a vector game written in the 80's this was quite good. I have always had a hard time hitting enemy armoured cars, it's not easy by any means, which makes the game challenging and even addictive.
3D Combat Zone is a pretty good arcade conversion of Atari's Battlezone.
Like its original it is very hard to evade enemy fire once they get their sights on you.
And hitting them yourself is quite a challenge, too.
So the arcade feeling is replicated well.
Good fun for some quick games.
