It’s ten-pin bowling! And you know what? This isn’t all that bad. In fact it’s pretty accurate in replicating the true feel of ten-pin bowling, but then again I’m struggling to think of an actual bowling simulator on the Spectrum, actually now come to mention it there weren’t that many bowling games on the Spectrum anyway...so this is probably as good as it gets...which frankly is a bit of a pity. But still it’s good fun, it’s rated quite highly by WoS users and I can see why.

I have a copy of this game somewhere. It was one of the last games I've played in my golden Spectrum years.
The game looks quite good, the few animations in the game are quite nice and realistic. But the gameplay fails on that same realism, because the physics of the pins after being knocked out, aren't accurate, so don't expect a good bowling simulation. Instead you get a good virtual bowling game which gets a bit boring in the slower parts (when the pins are reset, for instance) but fun in the few action moments.

In a sense, this is the Leader Board of the bowling games. But who cares about bowling?

Well it's professional, I will give it that, but it just misses the mark of greatness for me. It certainly isn't bad and clearly a lot of work went into this one to try and make it the definitive bowling game, but it's a game I never really clicked with in all honesty.
