Reviews for Fall Guy (#1722)

This game always fascinated me for the way it looked. Its obvious lots of work was put into the characters and backgrounds.
The problem is the difficult level, which is too high! I think it desencourages even the most daring player! This is one of those games you need to keep coming back or else you will forget the jumping sequence of each of the 30 levels (yes 30!) and then its back to square one.

Every level as a different jumping approach, sometimes the train storms from the left, sometimes from the right, there are fixed obstacles and moving ones, and all of this as to be taken in consideration along with fast reflexes.
Its very addictive until you get frustrated enough not to touch it again for a long while. Still every time I load it, it still appeals to me greatly.
By the way, if you look carefully you will spot Jet Set Willy riding the first train.

Fall Guy by ELITE is a nice title by this company but too hard for me , I must say .

The idea behind FALL GUY is quite original and alluring but this game is hard as hell .

The presentation is correct ... it reminds me of Stop the Express , if only a bit .

If it wasnt for its diabolical level of difficulty , Fall Guy could have been a killer . ;-)

2,5 out of 5 .

The classic adventure TV series starring Lee Majors (known in Italy as 'Professione pericolo') would have potentially been a great material for a fast-paced, gripping arcade game. What Elite came up with was a boring, messy, unplayable affair instead. A huge disappointment.

I think the gameplay is tendentially terrible.

Based on the classic 80s TV show, Elite made this time a bloody hard game. You're a stuntman and have to progress through 6 film sets, jumping onto a train running along carriage roofs, runaway trucks, tanks, ... It's so difficult to progress through the game that it bores. It has detailed backgrounds, in the usual Elite style (but it doesn't mean they're graphically masterpieces!), ... too much effort on them and too little on gameplay, though.
