Interesting game. You NEED the book as the text adventure does NOT tell you all the objects in an area, nor does it tell you the exits.
Your strength slowly drains as you try to restore the Earth to its former glory by gathering secret objects and travelling to the Island of Secrets.
The puzzles are simple once you get the hang of it... but you MUST use Caps Lock!
Nice type-in game.

A nice adventure text game with a compelling story. It's written in BASIC as a type-in. Should be played using the book with the same name, but you can also play it without, although some events may be hard to surpass. The main problem about this game is it's too slow, painfully slow. Each command takes about 10 seconds to be processed, which is too much for an adventure game. I played it using an emulator with speed correction, but it still requires you to adjust the speed between the moments you are spelling commands and waiting for them to be processed.
PS: Remember to use the command RUN to initiate the game and set the Caps Lock on.
