1986 Alpha-Omega Software (UK)
by Simon Morris

Not a badly written side scrolling shooter, technically speaking, but too outdated for 1986 and very very repetitive.

A space ostrich against flying saucers, in this Llamasoftesque horizontal shoot'em up. It's silly and very simplistic but not unplayable. It's got the better presentation among the Alpha-Omega games released in 1986. 2,5/5

For some odd reason you're an ostrich in space and you shoot enemies. From the screenshot alone I was expecting this to be a Joust type game and well I was miles wrong. But I have to say this was a pleasant surprise, it's neat, plays and responds well and especially when you compare this to other Alpha--Omega/Power House games, Deathball, Dervish, Disaposable Heroes, Freedom Fighter, SQIJ anyone? This was a breath of fresh air compared to all of those combined.
