Reviews for Realm of Impossibility (#4051)

It was a simply ridiculous game back in 1985. So even more now.

And that's why I like it.

(Especially in two players mode).

I don“t understand the low score for this one in WOS .

Realm of Impossibility is a true winner !!

Just to be lost in the middle of a 3D maze is wild enough to be entertained for a while .

The idea is pretty original and the graphics are colorful and well designed for its day .

An above average Speccy game ! ;-)

1985 Ariolasoft (UK)

This is one of those games that always brings a smile into my face. At first glance may look like one of those crap competition games. The quirky and funny looking graphics and overall bad gameplay sure leaves room for criticism and may be confused as a joke.
Thankfully the C64 version plays a lot better and is really fun, albeit a bit uglier than the speccy one.

High performance programs from Ariolasoft, lies! It's horribly outdated for 1985 standards and the gameplay on my end, after 30 minutes of playing, is almost non-existant. Poorly reviewed upon release and justifiably so. Horrible sack of crap.

Seriously, how could you expect people to receive well in 1986 what looks and plays like a reject from 1982, at full price to boot, is one of the great mysteries of the Spectrum world. "Bad" is not enough to describe the "quality" of this waste of code.
