Reviews for Sabrina (#4298)

Sabrina Salerno was a very sexy Italian pop singer back in the 80´s ... she was very popular here in Spain , not only for her singing but also for her ... ehem , large breast .
Sabrina , the videogame, is a typical 80´s product which offers little interest apart from the spicy main female character .
With a Valerio Lazaroff´s kind of touch .

Bog-standard game with no playability. Sabrina's huge knockers will leave you tempted but it's not worth it. Avoid.
1989 Iber Software (Spain)

Obviously what attracted kids to this game, was Sabrina's well known attributes, almost revealed in her brief but famous 'Boys Boys Boys' video clip.
And has did the video, this game only attracted attention because of those attributes, although there aren't any naked ladies waiting for you anywhere in the game. But the idea of seeing naked boobs, even within the spectrum's graphic limitations, was quite an incentive.
There is nothing much happening here, you control Sabrina in a side-scrooling action game, and use her boobs as weapons. It sounds nice, doesn't it? We all thought so...
If made with (much) more care, Sabrina would have been an hilarious spoof of Kung Fu Master. As it is, however, it looks poor, plays very bad - enemies come at you endlessly, and each one can only be defeated with one of Sabrina's three attacks, not to mention the bombs which seem almost impossible to kick - and ends up as an exercise in frustration. Only interesting for its novelty value, but there is nothing else here able to hold your attention for more than a few seconds.
