This is a very underwhelming game, the movement is slow but your energy goes down almost too quickly. You can also use your bombs too easily and run out before the level's even started. I was feeling very unimpressed with this.

This is from Crash magazine in 1988 by Lee Briggs in his only Spectrum entry. It looks and plays exactly how a budget shooter would but I was confused by the gameplay at first in that he would either use a bomb or shoot and then alternate randomly with no real warning, then I discovered that he shoots when moving and uses a bomb whilst idle, ah that explains it. It's not terrible by any means and it's a sort of game I'd have paid £1.99 for and thought really nothing of it apart from it leans towards the boring side very very quickly. But saying that it's far from the worse covertape game I've played and it much looks as well-written as an ordinary budget game would, like you could have shown me this game and told me it was from Mastertronic Plus or Bulldog Software or one of their other budget label, that cost £1.99 or even possibly £2.99 and I would have believed you.
